Product Overview
Calcium chloride injection provides rapid replacement of calcium in critical situations. It delivers three times more elemental calcium than calcium gluconate per gram, making it the preferred agent for severe hypocalcemia and cardiac arrest.

Administration Precaution
Calcium chloride is a vesicant. Administer via central line when possible. If peripheral administration is necessary, use large vein and infuse slowly (not exceeding 1 mL/min). Monitor for extravasation.

- • Cardiac arrest (PEA, asystole)
- • Severe hypocalcemia
- • Hyperkalemia emergency
- • Calcium channel blocker overdose
- • Hypermagnesemia
- • Massive blood transfusion
Dosing Guidelines
- • Cardiac arrest: 500-1000 mg IV
- • Hypocalcemia: 500-1000 mg over 5-10 min
- • Hyperkalemia: 500-1000 mg IV over 2-5 min
- • May repeat based on clinical response
- • Monitor calcium levels and ECG
